Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault (Safe Path)

About this Service

Safe Path is Franciscan Skemp Healthcare's domestic abuse and sexual assault program. Our aim is to provide services to victims of emotional, physical and sexual assault.

Free services available from Safe Path include:

  • a confidential and safe place to talk
  • emotional support
  • information and referral
  • individual counseling
  • safety planning
  • crisis intervention (24 hour telephone line)
  • assistance in dealing with legal, medical and human services systems
  • assistance with access to resources
  • assistance with applying for crime victims' compensation

Safe Path is part of the Franciscan Skemp Center for Women's Health, 800 West Avenue South, La Crosse, WI We are available by phone 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

 

Appointments are preferred, but not always necessary. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
