Franciscan Skemp Lifeline is an easy-to-use Personal Response Service that ensures people living at home with limited mobility and other physical challenges, get quick assistance whenever it is needed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

With continuous hometown quality, service and visibility, we have served over 100,000 subscribers in this area since 1982. Franciscan Skemp Lifeline helps people live more independent, active lives at home. No matter what the health concerns or special needs, they will always be in close touch with people who care.

Lifeline's own professional staff is ready to assist whenever it is needed, allowing members and their caregivers to go about daily activities with more confidence and less worry all for a little more than a dollar and pennies a day.

How it works
The subscriber wears a waterproof personal help button as a necklace, or on their wrist. If the person needs help they press the button. The Lifeline unit is activated and automatically dials the Lifeline Response Center. Within seconds a Trained Certified Lifeline monitor, who has instant access to your complete profile and critical information (which we obtain from you) will contact you to see what help you need (in English or your native language). Even if you can't answer, Lifeline sends help at once.

We ask that you give us the names of family, neighbors, or friends who are willing to respond if you press your button. The Lifeline Monitor will contact a neighbor, loved one or if they are unavailable, emergency services, to come to your assistance based on your specific needs. The Lifeline Monitor will follow up to ensure that help did arrive.
