AMC H1N1 vaccination update - November 25, 2009

Patients listed in the target groups below can, however, get the H1N1 vaccine by calling to make an appointment at Austin Medical Center (AMC) at 433-8758.

Vaccine will be given to any of the following groups:

  • Children age 6 months through 24 years
  • Pregnant women
  • People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
  • Health care and emergency medical services personnel with direct patient contact
  • Age 25 years through 64 years with a chronic medical condition that puts them at higher risk of medical complications from influenza

AMC is following all H1N1 vaccine recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

For up-to-date information on H1N1 vaccine, who can get it and when, visit the Minnesota Department of Health web site at www.health.state.mn.us.
