Starting in April 2007, people who use syringes, lancets and other sharps medical items at home, such as people with diabetes and other medical conditions, will now be able to properly dispose of these items separately from their household trash for free.
To encourage people who generate sharps at home to properly dispose of them, the groups listed below are providing free sharps containers and free disposal of full containers.
Pick up empty sharps containers for FREE
- Erickson's Family Pharmacy, The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy and Red Cedar Medical Center Pharmacy
- Dunn County clinics
- Bremer Bank in Knapp
Drop off full sharps containers for FREE at Dunn County Transfer Station and any of the following Dunn County Area Collection Stations:
- Boyceville
- Colfax
- Connorsville
- Downsville
- Elk Mound
- Ridgeland
- Rock Creek
