"Wellness ROCKS" (Reaching Our Communities KidS) is a community-based wellness campaign that will motivate families to live healthier and more active lives.
The campaign is made possible by the generous support of the Menomonie Community Health Foundation and many local sponsors.
All events are free. Click on the link below each event description to register (required).

Healthy Cooking on a Budget
Thursday, Feb. 4, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Menomonie High School.
Get ideas and recipes to prepare healthy meals for your family without breaking the budget. Adults only. 6:30 to 8 p.m., Menomonie High School. Space is limited. Class taught by Susan Turgeson, Family & Consumer Science teacher at Menomonie High School.

Kid's Yoga
Thursdays in February (4, 11, 17, 25)
Discover yoga’s calming, loosening, strengthening and playful sides! Mats are helpful but not necessary. For children age six to twelve years. 5:15 to 6 p.m., Glenwood City High School. Call 715-265-4757 ext. 6132 to register.

Family Fun Day - Snow Shoe & Winter Hike
Saturday, Feb. 13, 10 a.m. to noon
Menomonie Area School District Environmental Site
Join your family on a winter wonderland walk. Warm up by the fire with a light lunch and hot beverage. A limited number of snow shoes will be available for use. Bring a non-parishable food item for local food pantry (optional).
