Cost of the seasonal vaccine is $31 for adults and $22 for a pediatric dose. Cost of the H1N1 vaccine is $24. Children younger than 9 years require 2 doses of seasonal flu vaccine one month apart if it's the first time they've been vaccinated for the flu. Children younger than 10 years require 2 doses of H1N1 vaccine one month apart. Flu shots are covered by most insurance.
