Making A Donation

The Lake City Medical Center Development Office serves as a vital link between philanthropy and opportunities to enhance local health care. Generous community support has allowed the Development Office to promote innovative health care programs and medical advancements. Under the direction of its Board of Trustees and the Development Council, the Development Office coordinates fundraising efforts and acts as a steward for all gifts received.

Lake City Medical Center currently has several active funds to benefit our community.

Planned Giving

Planned giving enables a donor to arrange charitable contributions in ways that maximize his or her personal objectives while minimizing the after-tax cost.  We can help you find ways to support the mission of Lake City Medical Center while ensuring your families financial security.  One of these planned giving options might be right for you, too.   Learn more

Gift Annuity

As people approach or start to think about retirement, they often wonder how they will ensure a steady income for themselves while maximizing whatever tax breaks are available.  In addition, many people think about their commitment to their favorite charities, such as Lake City Medical Center and want to continue to support causes they care about, even when forced to live on a fixed income.

Many individuals have used gift annuities to accomplish both income and philanthropic goals.  A charitable gift annuity is part investment and part gift.  Learn more

Non-cash Gifts

Gifts of appreciated securities offer tax advantages including forgiveness of the tax on capital gain and an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities.  You also can make gifts of property such as real estate, life insurance or retirement accounts.  Learn more

Real Estate Gifts

Donations of real estate offer immediate fair market value income tax deduction and reduce or eliminate tax on capital gains.
