When I was growing up, my parents made a point of being involved in our greater Mankato community in many ways. Because our community has nurtured and sustained our family and our business, we feel a special need to give back for future generations.

 As a nurse educator, and also having served our community for many years in public office, I know full well the need for our hospital to grow, stay current and incorporate innovations in medicine to sustain quality medical care for our families. The last generation of citizens built the hospital we have today as a result of their generous contribution of time and resources. I am proud to participate in the Generations of Care campaign because of its importance to our community and our families. I realize now is the time, and now it's our turn, to work together and support this project. Please join us and support this effort to secure the future of high quality medical care in our area.
Nadine and I are proud to help our friends, our employees and the people of the region, have access to a regional cancer center in Mankato. The community has been good to both of us and we are pleased to give back in this way. All of us benefit from the development of comprehensive medical services available locally. We invite others in the community and the region to join us in support of this important project.
